Dear Chun-Yeow, dear all, Thanks for the hint regarding mBm and dBm. What a stupid mistake. No it's working well! Thank you!!! (changing the bit rate also don't work for me ... but maybe I have made a mistake here too ... I have to check later when I'm back in my office) >If you want the survey dump, perhaps look for ath9k device. Not so sure what you mean here. A small explanation would be really great. Thanks in advance!!!
Are there any parameters which will change while I'm increasing the distance between the two nodes? Bit rate? Anything else? Any parameter which can probably change? (I really want to have a clear and proper result) To get the packet error rate I want to periodically/permanently send message from one node to the other one. Can I use normal UDP packets for that? Is there a possibility to send packets on a lower layer in Linux? (I think raw Ethernet sockets will be helpful but I will have to investigate some more here) Again thanks for your help and I'm open for other/more hints and recommendations!
