This extension looks good, I don't know if it has to be the default, but
it would be very welcome by me in the entropy repositories.
I have some more impressions for Gnome 3, currently I am forced to use
the fallback mode on my laptop, due to fglrx drivers, for me it is not
an option to use the open source drivers.
The fallback mode is very stable, I had not a single stability problem
from it.
I have some considerations for the packages, though.
1) Gnome3 pulls Vala. I noticed that the vala package available in
entropy includes the compiler and all the development tools for this
language.
As far as I know Vala is essentially a layer on top of C, so it should
be useless having all this stuff installed.
Is it possible to split Vala in more packages, one for the development
tools and one for the runtime dependencies?
2) empathy requires pidgin,
This is what I get if I want to install empathy in a system without
pidgin:

pidgin takes 50MB when installed, and it does the same thing as empathy,
is it really necessary to have them both installed?
Another possible issue is with gnome-keyring, I am always prompted for
password of my wireless network, even if I entered it a billion times
and I created a keyring. I am trying to figure out if it is my fault or
something is wrong with my Gnome3 installation.
