I don't really know any more than you but my guess is that while
this may be presented as another Xv adapter, what it really does is
make a video source available as a texture.
This would allow you to, for instance, display a virtual reality
living-room and whenever the camera falls on the TV it would be
showing live pictures from a video feed.
