>From what I could tell judging by how it performed on the C700, qt is just writing strait to the framebuffer device as well ( which there is cryptic source for ). I suspect and would hope this has changed in the newer C7xx's ( which afaik still have Imageons ). Also considering kdrive essentially is a competitor to qte Im not sure how helpful they'd be...
