If there is a link in the mail (or also take an HTML file), one can write a macro so that if you point to the link and click it will open the link in a browser. AFAIK it became usual to symbolise this by underlining. So, IMO rather another missing feature than an attack of featuritis. Anyway, coming to the subject. I think it's time to have a bleeding edge version of nedit again, since this project seems to sleep away. (There isn't even the planned bugfix release and Niki is missing for moons only because of some fairly unrelated ftp issue.)
