Tivo term for recording all episodes of a series. > > > - Scheduled recordings (good when you are on holiday) > > Or at work ;) Or at home. ;) After you get use to having a PVR record for you, you hardly ever watch live tv. You cherry pick off of whats already recorded. Usually, there is far more to watch on the box then I have time for. :) > > - Set Reminder (Remind me when a show is on..maybe via a popup > telling > > me the show I set a reminder for is about to start... want to watch > > it?) That would be annoying because of the above listed reason. It would be going off all the time. Hmm... Well... I guess being able to mark an individual showing as Remind wouldn't be too bad. > > I'm not sure, that seems redundant with schedules - just record and > maybe hint the user that a recording started. Yeah. Just a recording status would be fine. > > > Initial Questions... > > > 1. The greatest feature of Myth is that I can go to any one of my tv's/laptops and play without transferring anything. > > > 3. In that same vain, a feature I'd really like is a disconnected mode. Good for laptops/car computers on trips. It would have a dedicated pool of space and it would copy things from the backend. If you don't watch a show for a number of days or watch you did watch the show, it would mark it as watched, and replace it with something else next time the laptop was connected. That would use the EPG data, but is different then setting what the backend will record. Kevin > > -- > Michał Sawicz <[email protected]> > >
