As far as I am aware, you haven't tried something as simple as a link
within the voting record box on TheyWorkForYou ("Would you like to add a
new line here?") pointing to a page on PublicWhip where you explain like
this email, what a policy is, and how someone can add one? All I can
find on PW is http://www.publicwhip.org.uk/policies.php which is of no
help, and if I click Make a new policy I have to log in before I get
some actual help, which I imagine people won't do as you haven't told
them why they should bother. The second paragraph of
http://www.theyworkforyou.com/help/#votingrecord is of more help.
Kerry McCarthy MP asked about this recently, so there certainly is interest.
