Just wondering if anyone has any experience with shareholder activism in
the UK. I've heard some interesting stories about the impact ethical
shareholders can have on big companies and would like to get involved
myself. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good discussion groups
where people were running campaigns to target specific companies with
poor ethics records?
The Canadian branch of Amnesty ran a campaign called sharepower [1]
which looks a bit like what I was thinking of but is more applicable to
Canadians than Brits. Does anyone know of anything else?
