How many people would want to dive into the data and work out their own statistics, but are hampered by a lack of appropriate analytical techniques? It can't be very many, but I've been in that boat before. Dave PS: My favourite little trick is to look at the reverse of any quoted percentage of people. "75% of people are against the death penalty." ... wow, I didn't realise 25% are for it!
