Hi everyone,
I thought some of you might be interested in coming to a hack event
we're running this weekend.
For those who you've who've come to a Social Innovation Camp before,
you'll know how this works....
This weekend is part of a competition called Jailbrake that's all
about giving young people new opportunities and ways of staying out of
trouble using simple web and mobile tools.
From a call for ideas back in January and February, we’ve chosen six
early-stage ideas we’re going to be helping to turn into real
projects in just one weekend from 6.30pm, Friday 26th March to 4pm,
Sunday 28th March.
Now we’re looking for all sorts of talented people to get involved:
right through from those who have first hand experience of working
with young people and the youth justice system, to software developers
and designers.
Their challenge will be to build these six new ideas in under 48 hours
- from hacking together the software to working out how to sustain the
idea.
You can come along for all or part of the weekend and get involved in
one particular idea or help out several different projects – just let
us know when you’d like to come by signing up here: http://jailbrake.org/sign-up-to-com

Here's when and where:
6.30pm, Friday 26th March – 4pm, Sunday 28th March 2010
The Young Foundation
, 18 Victoria Park Square,
Bethnal Green,
London,
E2 9PF
Participants so far range from people from the Foyer Federation and

Promise it'll be the most unusual hack weekend you've ever been to!
Thanks,
Anna
