if the BBC deploys (an update of) the flash app they usually
use, then you can just watch the http traffic for the
xml which drives it and then parse it.


You can guarantee updates as real-time too ;)


And, if they publish ward data for each constituency (which
they might), you can possibly get a strong indicator of
preferences for each local council, which is something very
few media organisations will do. Something nice for the
local blog on the night (until your servers melt).
