I believe Companies House has a 'person ID' (or similar) which uniquely identifies someone and so would still allow you to find that information. Directors still have to provide their real address to CH, they can just opt not to have it published - which is sensible from a privacy point of view, especially if you run a controversial company such as one which experiments on animals.
