Hibernates view on the world are pojo's and pointers. Pointers are never bidirectional.
Isn't the same true for any programming language and are there solutions /patterns for "bidirectional" pointers?
MMBases view is similar as the relation databases. There are "foreign keys" which you can use to go both ways.
