Nope. 1. We would still need download targets in the build.xml. 2. Not all committors have access to mmbase.org. 3. People will easily replace a package because they think the old version isn't needed anymore. But old packages are needed to be able to build old MMBase versions. 4. We would need to create some sort of dir structure for packages with the same name, but a newer version. Jaco
