I would like to stress here that the new Storage layer will be totally different from the old one.
I.o.w., I discourage writing a new storage class based on what is currently in CVS, as you would have to do it again once the new storage layer comes out.
The new storage layer code is available in the 'speeltuin' CVS (gomez/storage) if you like to take a peek at it.
It will probably not work at all right now, but I am going to test it this week and I have good hopes it will within a few days.
