[MMBase-1.7.0] Status update

Hello everyone,

I'm almost ready adding dates to the releaseplan (last issue before the 
vote can take place) and I ran into a few problems.
To set a freeze date I need to know what the status is of some 
projects/hacks.

- FieldTypes: what needs to be done before the hooks are ready? And when 
will this be?
- Functions: I think it would be wise to add the hooks (and only the 
hooks) as a hack and start a project after the release to take care of 
the implementation details. There are only a few people who've voted and 
I think it's important, so please take a look at the mail about this 
hack and vote.
- Are there more changes required in other projects which need to be 
done before the freeze?

I'll start a vote when I know enough to say something about the freeze date.
