I've started implementation of the hooks. It is actually quite straight-forward, so I think I'd have something working in a few hours work. The hooks are needed for some other projects like i18n and richtext. With some luck they can be based on 1.7 then. For taglib2 I'd like to add a few features - it would be very neat e.g. if 'tree functions', and related-list delegation, could make it into 1.7, because I think these could be tremendously useful. This might not be very simple, but I think I might be nearly there soon. Other desirable and relatively simply to implement new features might be - 'collection attributes on lists' (set operations like, merge, removeAll and the like), which I've promised to Henk.. - the function tags. I've completely implemented those here, but I hold my breath for the 'funcion' hack, so I might need to somehow hack these implementations. That would even nearly complete the taglib2 project, then (most points of the project page are ready then) But the release need not be stalled further for this, because the taglib is in more or less consistent state now. I simply will franticly use the time resting until the freeze to try to finish this, to make sure that lots of bugs can be spotted to fix in the freeze itself :-) > I'll start a vote when I know enough to say something about the freeze date.
