The old-old classes did, our informix version did, the storage classes didn't
for a while until I mentioned it. The scan-editors called it directly as well.
Well, currently:
- the old support classes don't
- the old storage classes don't
- the new storage classes (the storagemanger/storagemanagerfactory classes) do.
The first two are to be dropped from 1.8 (at least that is the intention).
Since the only organisation atht uses the preCommits switched to the new storage classes, do I 'fix' this (add preCommit all over the code in the old database classes) or reject the bug?
Afaik the preCommit has not been part of the MMBase database insert code for a long time.
If I 'fix' it someone who still uses the old classes will need to test this. Personally I think that if nobody uses the peCommits now, it is maybe better to not change it.
