It might be that there are more places where this has to be done. Probably there is the same problem with attachments.
Might be, for the moment I set the bug to pending, until this is checked.
The same problem exists with attachments.
I fixed that bit too and closed the bug.
Note though that the 'fix' is a bit of a hack: the code checks whether the 'number' of the node starts with 'n', which (at least in the current implementation of the editwizards) identify it as a new node.
Iow: rather than checking whether the data is present, it checks whether the node is 'new', and assumes that it is filled if it isn't.
I'll see if I can find a better solution but for now this works as a temporary fix.
