Hi inouk, unfortunately my Huawei E169 doesn't work either on both La Fonera 2.9 and 2.0n.
Settings: Country: Austria Provider: Mobilkom APN: a1.net user: [email protected] password: ppp (in the La Fonera originally it's a preset value (by mistake?) "pp") pin: **** DNS: 194.48.124.200 (in the La Fonera originally it's the preset value is "194.48.124.202") Neither the firmware's preset values for Austria/Mobilkom work nor manually inserted settings. The device is recognized by the La Fonera but it never starts dialing in successfully. The updated Ubuntu 9.10 can successfully use the device - it has an additional value setting which is (dialing?)number *99# but I cannot find a field in the La Fonera to add this.
