Hi Inouk, In my case it seemed that the La Foneras (2.0g and 2.0n) both have problems with the Huawei E169 which is a USB-3G-stick and a Micro-SD card reader in the same time.
But I was today successful I yesterday changed to the old Huawei E220 again and applied your hint in the following procedure: La Fonera 2.0g (firmware 2.2.5.0 rc5) or La Fonera 2.0n (firmware 2.3.6.0): I found a dialing number you mentioned below in the file /Apps/umtsd.lua (@ f2g in line 271, @ f2n in line 375) there I changed: "OK \"ATD*99***1#\"\n".. to "OK \"ATD*99#\"\n".. I manually entered my providers data: Country: Custom Configuration APN: a1.net PIN: **** Username: [email protected] Password: ppp DNS: 194.48.124.202 Use default DNS: enabled Activate Hotspot: enabled Then I plugged the stick to the router and rebooted. Both routers automatically granted web access over 3G broadband :-) Inouk, thanx again for all the help, Kyros PS: Both routers return to DHCP internet connection settings after removing the USB-3G-stick. So you have to manually set other connection type again, old StaticIP, PPPoE or other settings will not be reset. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [fonosfera] No internet 3G via hub (so no storage) From: Inouk Bourgon <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: Wed Dec 16 2009 13:06:58 GMT+0100 (CET) > Hello, you can try to change the ATD command in the Fonera.
