I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to those that have been effected by
the terrorist attacks in the US. I know many on this list live in New
York and in the areas that have been devastated by these cowardly actions.
With the Internet we communicate worldwide almost instantly. We share
viewpoints and ideas. We instantly cross borders and embrace all peoples
of the world to establish friendships and business relationships.
It remains beyond comprehension that there are people in this world that
demonstrate such a disrespect for human life.
I know everyone will reflect on the events of today. We too easily
become complacent and embroiled in our daily working lives. We need to
stop and realize this world remains so fragile. To think of all those
people who started their day, like any other day, and have lost a loved
one. I know today I will turn to all those whom I consider dear to me
and hold them a little tighter.
My prayers go out to the hope that someday we will all live in a better
world.
