Aha!  I did not know that... I thought it replied to every message. Nice feature..this 
stops users 
from e-mail bombing an e-mail list. (I wish everyone used this feature, I had 3000+ 
messages in 
my home mail box one day because of someone not unsubcribing to mail list before 
setting a 
vacation message)

Like I said earlier... I did not know it was supposed to work that way, but do like 
the idea of only 
replying once to each sender...

That means it seems to be working just fine. (I'll re-install the user-panel rpms and 
double check)  

As for waiting a week to send a second message to duplicate senders... The idea is 
sound, but 
your suggestion to make this configureable on a per user basis is good. 

One other suggestion would be to reset the vacation.db after disabling the vacation 
message. 
Because if the vacation message is changed and re-enabled before a week has passed, 
then 
anyone who received the old message will have to wait the balance of the week to 
receive the 
new message.  Just a thought.
