I've tested that solution to get a ide ata 100 raid card (hpt370) working on
e-smith.
It's OK with e-smith 4.1x coz highpoint provides drivers for redhat 7.0 &
7.1.
But because of its kernel I can't install sme v5 with redhat 7.1 drivers.
Highpoint didn't answer my mails asking module sources ou appropriate
version ...

Should I stay (4.1) or should I go (redhat :( ) ??

Please excuse my poor english once again.
