Also sounds good to me. However, I thought that was what the [Profiles]
share was all about for WinNT/2K...

The advantage is that everything related to the user is in one hierarchy. 
The disadvantage is you can't split profiles onto a separate space, but
that is not currently supported, and doesn't help in the Win9x case anyway.

Do we have a "Don't cross the streams" issue? 

What if someone moves from Win9x to Win2K - is it safe to use the same
profile directory?
