Just a quick note that this is not going to be part of 5.1 - we're talking about how to migrate to ext3fs after 5.1 The first step is getting the ext3fs modules built for the correct kernel version and doing a manual conversion and HOWTO. Then there is some serious work in the installer to add the ext2->ext3 conversion on upgrades. This is in the RedHat installer, but we will need to resync with the latest stream to get this support.
