Yes, interesting you should try attempt.

However a few words of caution, the current stable release of amphora 
reported only runs on RH 6.2... why I don't know, but it won't work run 
onearlier or later versions.

Secondly they are currently redeveloping Amphora and expect to relae in 
a few weeks.

Also I would suggest setting up a RH 6.2 server and testing the system 
out, find all the funnies and see if you can use that knowledge to port 
to SME.
