If you have basic backup/restore needs, flexbackup is a very capable
application. Coupled with my BackupNow and RestoreNow contribs, it does
simple backup/restore jobs well.

However, flexbackup has not been updated in over a year and development
appears dead. Here are just a few of it's current limitations.

It does NOT:
- work with some of the newer IDE tape drives
- support backup to multiple tapes or autochangers
- support backup/restore of remote servers
- have any bootable disaster recovery support
- support OBDR (one button disaster recovery)
- support other media like CD-RW/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM

But again, if your needs are simple, flexbackup is quite adequate.

Regards,
