Please check the list archives - this has been answered a few times. - SME Server 5.5 will have the 2.2.x kernel - It appears that the masquerading and other modules we need to move to 2.4 are now available, and that will happen after 5.5 > If we are not then can someone please tell me if I can upgrade my > kernel... if so how...? Dependencies etc.... There is an ISO image in Shad Lord's contrib area which will upgrade the kernel and various other packages. The 5.5beta is more up-to-date for some of the packages.
