At it's simplest level, the Bynari connector simply loads a few .dll files
giving Outlook more compatibility with IMAP.  It is a good add-on even for
standard Outlook/SME IMAP usage.

In addition, as you state if you have a Bynari server or ACL IMAP server,
the .dll provides ACL hooks to share server-based shares.  The connector
synchronizes the local .pst with server-based shares then the ACL kicks in
to allow access to the shares.

However, if you want to go this route, IMO you are better off implementing
the unlimited use, full version of InsightServer v3.5.3 on a separate RedHat
box, sitting behind an SME firewall/gateway.
