I'm looking for some testers.

I just got RT (Request Tracker) installed on a test SME server (v5.1.2).
RT is a ticket tracking system (http://www.bestpractical.com/rt/). I
believe it is the system that hosts MITEL's [EMAIL PROTECTED] tracking
system.

You can play with a system that I have up and running:
Send a test message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The system should
respond with an AutoReply. You can then log into the web interface at
http://test.tech-geeks.org/rt/index.html

Login: root
Password: password

Feel free to create users, modify tickets... whatever you want. (New
queue's won't work, as they require some modification on the server
itself.) I would especially like some feedback from people that are
already using RT. I believe I have it setup correctly, but I don't
really know if it is actually working as it should.

I'm going to re-load the server Friday (Aug 23, 2002) morning, so you
have until then to play with this test server.

I have also posted a "how-to" explaining what I did to get it working.
http://www.tech-geeks.org/contrib/loveless/rt/
After I get some feedback, I may ask to have it hosted (at least linked)
from the contrib site.

Thanks go to Rich Lafferty for his contributions in his ftp directory.

Note: It is possible that you will get an Apache error on the webpage.
Apparently the app hiccups, occasionally, when using Perl 5.6.0... just
refresh the page and it should come up. Also, I have only tried on
v5.1.2. Don't know about other versions, yet. (Left my 5.5 cd at home
yesterday)

Feedback welcomed, of course.

Thanks,
Abe
