Once upon a time I stumble upon these kind of threads....
I do not wish to insult _anybody_ and I have to speak out loud;
1. How come there _seems_ to be a 'strugle' between Charlie and Darrell? Is this the appropiate place to 'react' to each other...
2. How come that Mitel _sometimes_ responds to 'questions' 'remarks' 'questions' in rahter a blund way?
As far I can 'judge', following the mailing lists ( all of them for the past 1,5 years) I must say the GPL user communitity is very active and very willing to help. Although many of the users are not as experienced or gifted with Perl or even Linux knowledge, I must say _everybody_ tries to use e-smith (Mitel SME/MAS 6000/March..... do you follow...) and tries to get the most out of it.
If there are any personal issues, please resolve them off list, for I (and maybe others) get confused about the 'tone' of language. A 'camouflaged personal reaction' has it's impact on the general readers impression.
-> Charlie, You've have been and are a tremedous help to _many_ of the GPL users
-> Darrell, you contribs are awsome and I believe almost everyone uses 1 or more of them
-> please make use of the talent offered to you (yes, I mean offered!)
Sorry for this posting, but I had to get this off my chest. Again _not_ my intension to insult any person, just spoke from my hart.
Are we living on the edge of commercial<->GPL....?
Once again all, it is _not_ my intension to insult/blame _anybody_, it's just that I feel sad seeing these kind of posts/reactions now and extensively in the past. Especially since we _all_ try our best.
- Many try to become a distributor
- Many are willing to use service link services and suggested alternative pricing policies
- Many of us are willing (I believe) to promote SME/MAS6000 commercially if more options are possible.
I believe I responded to too many topics here, but then again you don't risk the chance of being flamed after this...
Sorry for the noise, I feel rather sad....
Regards, Hsing-Foo

I'm diving into SME6.0 and require access to SRPMS for development. I visited a few mirrors and did not find any. If Mitel has not already done so, would someone from Mitel please make the SRPMS available as soon as convenient. If they are available, would someone please assist me in pointing out where they may be found.
This is *also* inappropriate for this list. If you want to ask "Mitel", ask directly, not via this list.
If you have patches to submit, we're happy to recieve them.
