Hi, Is it not possible to have several temporary nodes? These node are use by new user to connect to the Freenet network when the connect for the first time. The temporary nodes have a list of trusted nodes that are several hops apart from each other. The connection request from the new user is passed one of the nodes on the list. The temporary node is then removed from the message list and the other node is used as the first node to discover other nodes. The advantage is that the temporary node are a garantee that every node in the Freenet network will be somehow connect to each other without the risk of having several central nodes that can bring down the entire network. Your thoughts please. Chaviv _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devl
