If announcements weren't working, even hawk wouldn't have any
references.  My node has been able to announce itself to the network
several times; you probably just bad/very overloaded seeds.  Ask on
IRC (#[EMAIL PROTECTED]) to get some keys right off
someone's node.

I wonder how long it takes the seeds off hawk to become so overloaded
that they can't refuse requests gracefully...
