Just had an idea that could work as an optional client but would be better as part of
fproxy for new users. I keep seeing messages on the dev list about "windows users
should update". That's important info that's only getting to those on the list where
they are posted, where as such information would be beneficial to everyone. I think
that fproxy could be set up to read an SSK out of it's configuration and check once a
day for [EMAIL PROTECTED]/YYYYMMDD-bulletin.txt, or just have it as a basic DBR. It
checks once a day for the bulletin and asks the user if they'd like to read it.

If no one is interested in the resposibility of doing it by hand, a daily archive of
the dev list could be inserted at that SSK automatically. This would be much more
verbose so it should just be an option on the gateway page.

Just a thought.
