That's a good idea.  More generally, it might be useful to have "Freenet
Bulletin" or "Freenet Announce" available from the Web Interface.  Simple enough
would be to make anything posted to [EMAIL PROTECTED] to be inserted.  The
node could retrieve bulletins in the background and post them to the bulletin
page, kind of like a log.  Freenet users then wouldn't have to connect to
freenetproject, protecting anonymity, and could even disable this, were they to
have some reason to.  Surely upgrade announcements and security/performance
notices are important enough to beam out to every freenet user?
