The problem is that for this to be really useful, it has to somehow be 
convertible into something that can buy you things in the real world.

Bandwidth and disk space are cheap, and most people, especially those running 
Freenet nodes can afford enough of both for their needs.

Inflation would be considerable. Bandwidth and disk space costs/value are 
constantly reducing at a drastic rate.

The problem is not in having central bank / database. This could be handled 
anonymously over Freenet with a bit of clever application level protocol 
engineering. The problem is in converting the virtual currency to and from a 
real currency.
