Are you kidding? I think NGRouting makes it *easier* to understand. The number of logical relationships to understand is reduced, for one. For another, it's like a simplified, toy model of economics, sharing a lot of the same concepts, so someone who understands *that* well worked out field already has a head start on understanding NGRouting. Plus, and this is the big one, there's written documentation on how NGRouting works.
