You didn't answer my point; a little communication to people that (you worded it) "do very little for Freenet" (publishers, users, evangelists, node operators ... and so on) would suffice. One mail with a right worded subject in each maillist, a couple of day before, was all I asked for; this was not done. It is difficult to admit a mistake; shut up people is easier. Freenet is not the only way to strongly support privacy and anonimity; working on several project (maybe doing a little in each one...) I think that in this period spending my time on Freenet is not the best way to invest it for the cause. I remain a strong Freenet supporter, but this doesn't imply accepting everything, in particular your position about the zero value of a Freenet community that was already destroyed in the past without IMHO any real need. This is an old discussion we already had in the maillist, and I see no reason to move it in private email. You, Matthew, and all coders don't need to find, or ever ask, a consensus, but you must have enought consideration of the people working in the background to just inform of disruptive or important changes in a correct and effective way.
