If it can do this as transparently and reliably as it gets the installer from Freenet's servers (ie. no click through agreements etc) then fine.

It's a big NO-NO!
You don't want to install such a big app, without asking the user at least *where* to install it. I hate programs installing 3rd party programs without asking me where to install them as I've got my own ideas of a logical directory structure.
