I was under the impression that Freenet itself doesn't works so well under
64-bit Linux, since that doesn't support non-native Posix threads, leading
to a deadlock.

Besides, can't 64-bit Linux run 32-bit programs, if the correct libraries
are installed ?

In all honesty, if you heard of a tool called "FDT", would it say anything
