Just the self-updating progress bars etc would not be enough. The web 
interface needs to be *USABLE* with javascript turned off. However, feel free 
to submit proposals related to improving the user interface - making it 
auto-update on the downloads and friends pages, better friend to friend chat, 
plus the work above, would be fairly interesting. Have a look at the links 
from the wiki page, I have updated it recently ... also, the conversation 
around 19:00 GMT today between toad_ and sashee on the IRC logs.
