It's a user-friendly GUI implementation of the config generator that
conforms to accepted user interface standards in Windows.

Well, why don't you look at the screenshots, and implement a similar or
better visual design using the JFC/Swing classes.

That's a valid concern.
But I don't mind maintaining the gui config utility, especially if I'm kept
informed of changes. Small price to pay for a user interface that's far more
approachable for windows users.

Oskar, I know your opinion about Windows users.
I know you believe women under Taliban rule to be free in comparison.
But don't forget that Windows is still 90%+ of the installed desktop user
base, and the key to freenet's ultimate mass acceptance.

Less than 0.1% of windows programs require people to key text into the black
console window. It makes users' eyes glaze over.

In Rome, do as Romans do, even if it means swalling a bit of technocratic
pride.
