I say let them. In fact websites should feature some cute logo for "Get My Freenet Seed" like that blue-ribbon for free speech campaign. Maybe it should be a joint effort. People can get their seeds from web sites they frequent, so they have at least some trust metric and the benefit of decentralizing it as much as possible.
