What solutions if any are in the works for this. My new isp has dynamic address assignment combined with no stable dns name precicely to prevent people running any sort of node or server.
I got a few fixes i can do, ie grabbing one since DHCP tends to give you what u usually have or not using their dns and registering somewhere of even running my own somehow,,,and other things. But as this type of service becomes more the norm mediacom in this case, whatcya gonna do. I've always though of nodes as tied to the person not the machine, but that's another project.
