Freenet is still eating my CPU. [[ WARNING: complete speculation ]]
Q: How many people who are having this problem have "averageBandwidthLimit" set? Q: Any one have this problem without bandwidth caps set? I was correlating my load to the freenet logs and I think I noticed a correlation between when it was throttling from bandwidth limits and when the CPU goes crazy. I was also seeing the cyclic behavior where load would spike and my node would effectively get nothing done and then later it would settle out and run normally again. I was wondering if the limiting code could be contributing to the problem and then after the node is shutdown from the CPU load for a while, the throttling is no longer needed and the problem goes away. Only to repeat a while later. I am trying my node unthrottled for a while to see if that changing anything. But I can't live that way.
