We can't have a Free-net that would gain in popularity if the first
thing the new users see on the frontpage/mainportal , TFE? , is links
to -very- offensive sites and childporn (for christs sake!!!) it just gives
them the impression that freenet is a network for perverts.
On the regular 'internet' they jsut dont stumble across these sort of pages.
possible effects are legal actions toward the creators of freenet and no
grants being given to the advancement of the project.
I for one am all for taking those links down from the TFE , they can try to
coordinate themselves and I will continue to have very hateful feelings towards
those pervs.
unless we start to see some regulation on the subject of this matter we will all
start to be considered perverted pricks by the grey mass.
Sorry but this is the way regular people look at it.
But otherwise, as you were, keep on doing a great job :D
