I'd say that encouraging visitors to go ahead and play with XWiki actually is a good thing :-) However you're right, maybe another wording would be better... "Play with an hosted instance of XWiki" maybe? Something that would take visitors to playground.xwiki.org so that they can get a feel of what the software does...
