Okay...

Can anyone give me some good reasons why I wouldn't want to have multiple
DHCP servers that have:

1. Static addresses only.

2. A common (well, copied) dhcpd.conf file.

3. Both bootp and dhcp clients.

The addresses are all static, so the leases file is empty, and even if a
client follows the RFC and dumps the address if the server can't be
contacted, it will get the same address when it tries for a new one.

I do understand that version control of the .conf file will be an issue.

Am I missing anything?
