No, a bridge makes two network segments look like they are physically
connected.   A filtering bridge may try to optimize the network by not
forwarding packets from one segment to the other if they would not be
needed on the other, but it very definitely has to make sure that if
it doesn't know which segment the destination is on, or if the packet
is a broadcast or multicast, that it is sent on both segments.
